CIGA Publications
The publishing house of the Centro de Investigaciones en Geografía Ambiental (CIGA) was established in 2008 and, since 2010, has been part of the Dirección General de Publicaciones y Fomento Editorial (DGPFE) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Its main mission is to disseminate the results of projects undertaken by members of the center. Therefore, the publication of publications related to geographical and environmental issues is privileged, but the possibility of publishing works from other fields, from researchers outside the center or from other institutions is not limited, as long as the internal editorial process is respected.
