Cultura y Naturaleza: Textos novohispanos como fuentes para el estudio de la historia ambiental, siglos XVI-XVIII.
Synopsis
The present work is an approach to an idea that accompanies human culture. It is an account in which the man wishes to explain a relationship between himself and nature: the two worlds to which, as a creature, he belongs, and from one of which he could separate himself, although never from both. For its development, geographic factors are considered, without falling into the idea of a clear purpose for the man regarding its role in the historical evolution.
