Synopsis

In this work, contributions have been gathered on the terms of the kinship system, the orthography of the Nahuatl of the Huasteca or on the New Spanish texts in the Nahuatl language. But we can also read texts about traditional medicine, migration or the political organization of the community. As a whole, these texts are an important contribution to studies on the multi-ethnic region and, especially, on the Nahua population. At the same time, they are a valuable introductory resource for a very broad public that wants to know more about the Huasteca, since they are accessible to interested non-specialists, although it seems to us that they will also be of interest to the latter.
