Synopsis

This visual guide is designed so that producers and field technicians and inhabitants of avocado areas can identify and thus conserve species of herbaceous plants and insects that have the potential to be useful for avocado production systems.

In this guide we include a list of the plant species found to be associated with avocado cultivation and a selection of the plants that have been documented to perform a utility function for the cultivation. Likewise, the species of insects that carried avocado pollen are included and are, therefore, potential pollinators of the crop.
