Vivienda de interés social y calidad de vida en la periferia de la ciudad de Morelia, Michoacán
Synopsis
This paper approaches the voice of social housing users through their narratives. We are interested in how they narrate their ways of inhabiting the city, the subdivision and their housing, integrating the spatial dimension to the meanings associated with the interior housing and its relationship with current housing, the conditions of the subdivisions and the impact on daily life, neighborhood relations, the use of public space and finally the satisfaction and future expectations with housing and subdivision.
This research seeks to obtain the consequences of social interest housing in the urban periphery of Morelia, and determine the quality of life of its inhabitants, on the subdivision scale and in relation to the city. Based on a complementarity of qualitative approaches that allow us to understand the meanings that users deposit in their housing and subdivision; which guide their ways of living and condition their quality of life.
