Synopsis
This work was intended as a forum for the presentation of research results for the generation of new and original perspectives on the problems of environmental change that countries in Latin America face. Various aspects of spatial modeling are addressed for the analysis of environmental processes such as the recovery of native vegetation, changes in cover / land use, with a special emphasis on deforestation, loss of biodiversity as well as the effect of public policies.
