Synopsis

This cartographic product shows the location and spatial distribution of the physical-geographical landscapes in eight municipalities in the west of the State of Mexico at a scale of 1:250,000. Geosystems were determined at the taxonomic level of class (5), subclass (14), localities (37), complex sites (64) and simple sites (137). Derived from the analysis of the landscape units, it is found that more than 70% of the territory corresponds to mountains and hills. In the lithology there is a predominance of basalt (31.62%) and Andesite (18.1%) formations. Being the dominant soil the humic Andosol (43.67%).
