Synopsis

This work presents a collection of studies on urban fragmentation and segregation that start from a conceptual review and seek to identify variables to measure their causes and effects. The work contributes, in particular, to the knowledge of regions commonly neglected, such as intermediate cities in Mexico and Latin America, showing, in its course, the complexity of the phenomenon.
